The architectural soul of Villa Taylor lies in its fragmentation. By breaking the program into distinct "blocs," the design creates a porous environment where the architecture "breathes." The volumetry is defined by clean-lined, rectangular masses built using BTC (Brique en Terre Compressée)—compressed earth blocks. This choice of material not only pays homage to local craftsmanship but also provides excellent thermal mass and a rich, earthy texture that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding vegetation.

These independent volumes are woven together by a network of open-air pathways sheltered by a sculptural pergola métallique. This metal trellis serves as the project's connective tissue, protecting residents from the sun while casting rhythmic, cinematic shadows across the red earth walls throughout the day. Every block is enveloped by expansive gardens, ensuring that nature is never more than a step away. The interior spaces mirror this philosophy, featuring floor-to-ceiling glass that dissolves the boundaries between the refined, minimalist interiors and the vibrant landscape, creating a living experience that is both deeply private and completely immersed in the outdoors.
