Located on a 1700 m² plot in Conakry along the Sangareya bay, the Villa Simona is a 3 storey residential building. The essence of the project is encapsulated in a single gesture; the three stacked volumes gradually opening up towards the nearby river and its scenery. The rather monolithic construction derives its simplicity from the clarity of its program. Each floor houses a precise function: A space for the kids, a private suite for the parents, and a place for the two to gather; all linked together by a staircase which also serves as an « axis » around which the 3 volumes revolve.
