Overview
Located in the dense, high-traffic business district of Plateau, Dakar, this multi-story parking facility is designed as a vital urban intervention to alleviate chronic center-city congestion. Rather than treating the parking garage as a concealed, purely utilitarian box, MOST MONTI STUDIO approached the project as a dynamic piece of civic infrastructure—one that proudly displays its structural logic and adds visual energy to the urban grid.

The defining feature of the building is its striking structural exoskeleton. To support the open-span concrete slabs, we implemented a series of heavy diagonal bracing columns across the facade.
These structural V-shapes are painted in vibrant, primary colors (red, blue, yellow), creating a stark, kinetic contrast against the raw, brutalist grey concrete. This chromatic rhythm breaks down the massive scale of the building, transforming a static parking structure into an active, geometric landmark that animates the streetscape.
