Overview
Situated within the serene landscapes of Senegal, this luxury residential complex is an exercise in horizontal elegance and contextual integration. Rejecting vertical density, the project is conceived as a sprawling sequence of low-slung, interconnected pavilions. This fragmented, low-density masterplan ensures ultimate privacy for the residents while fostering a tranquil, resort-like atmosphere defined by manicured lawns, minimalist water features, and expansive open skies.

Climatic Volumetry & Form
The architecture is characterized by strong, sweeping horizontal lines that mirror the flat coastal topography. Heavy, earth-toned volumes are capped by sleek, dark roof slabs with deep, dramatic overhangs. These expansive canopies are a highly deliberate bioclimatic intervention; they act as permanent solar shields, protecting the expansive floor-to-ceiling glass facades from the harsh West African sun while framing panoramic views of the surrounding palm groves. By elevating the structures slightly on a dark, flush plinth, the pavilions appear to float effortlessly above the terrain.
Materiality & The Indoor-Outdoor Continuum
The material palette is raw, warm, and deeply rooted in the local terroir. The primary structural walls feature a highly textured, terracotta-hued finish—evoking the aesthetic of traditional rammed earth or laterite stone—which physically and visually grounds the architecture in its environment.
Inside, the double-height living spaces celebrate volume and light. The rigorous boundary between inside and outside is completely dissolved by monumental glazing. Warm, minimalist interiors featuring natural woods, leather, and linen flow seamlessly out onto vast, shaded terraces and private infinity pools, creating an uninterrupted continuum of luxury living and natural beauty.
